Our Community

Welcome to the ZIS community! Our community extends beyond our students and includes ZIS families, alumni, faculty, neighbors and friends.

  • Our admissions team will help you in the process of deciding whether ZIS is the right school for your child. When a child starts school at ZIS the whole family becomes part of the ZIS experience and we strive to make it special for everyone.
  • The school and the parents are partners in the education of our students. Through our communication efforts we aim to keep you well informed of happenings at school.
  • ZIS provides a strong alumni community for students and families once they no longer attend our school.
  • We also help to provide a community for parents through our extensive Adult Education Program and vibrant Parents' Association.

Volunteerism and philanthropy are key to the excellence of the ZIS program. The school's ability to provide an outstanding international education also depends on the ZIS community.

Each year the school launches an Annual Fund which further enhances educational excellence at ZIS.

The generosity of the community has made it possible for ZIS to run successful capital campaigns in recent years enabling us to extend our infrastructure to build a state-of-the-art Upper School.

I look forward to getting to know you. My door is always open - please contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.

Congratulations to the 134 students who graduated from ZIS at a special ceremony at the Upper School.
ZIS students achieved excellent results in math, reading and writing in an internationally-recognized assessment, gaining better results in all categories when compared to averages for other schools.
Service is an important part of the ZIS program. Students and teachers who took part in a service trip to a school in Ghana reflect on the experience and the impact it had on them.

Learning at ZIS

At ZIS we recognize the unique and diverse nature of our students. That’s why accommodating the individual learning needs of each and every student remains our highest priority.

Student Life

Co-curricular activities challenge our students’ personal, social and physical development and encourage a greater passion for learning. Opportunities range from the arts to sports to outreach and service work and beyond.

ZIS has four unique campuses offering a personal experience to each of our students. Whether it is an old villa or one of our modern buildings, ZIS offers an age-appropriate environment for your child’s learning.

The ZIS community extends beyond our students and includes ZIS families, alumni, faculty and staff, corporate partners, neighbors and friends.

Once a member of our community, always a part of our family around the world! Our alumni include former students, former parents and former faculty and staff. At ZIS we welcome our alumni’s engagement and strive to help you stay connected with your ZIS.
