Student Life Overview
Student life at ZIS is grounded in the Mission and Philosophy Learn, Care, Challenge, Lead.
The program is progressive through the school and provides opportunities for personal and social development for all students by introducing them to different interests and experiences. Students are encouraged to participate in a number of activities in the lower grades, then given the opportunity to build on the foundation of their experience and extend and enrich their interests as they move into the Upper School.
The program includes:
- performing and visual arts
- competitive sports
- outdoor education
- leadership opportunities and academic clubs
- service and outreach work.
In the vacations we offer programs for students of all ages. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, language and other academic classes, in support of the curriculum.
