Middle School Curriculum
Middle School students engage in learning within eight subjects to form a balanced, developmentally appropriate and comprehensive Middle School program. The following six subjects are compulsory:
- Social Studies
- Physical and Health Education
For the remaining two courses, students may choose two of the following electives per semester:
Grade 6: Band (year-long), String Ensemble (year-long), Choir, Art, Drama, Technology, French or Spanish.
Grade 7: Band (year-long), String Ensemble (year-long), Choir, Art, Drama, Robotics for STE(A)M, Digital Art, Virtual Middle School courses, French or Spanish.
Grade 8: Band (year-long), String Ensemble (year-long), Choir, Art, Drama, Robotics for STE(A)M, 3D Design, Animation and Gaming, Movie Making and Sound, French or Spanish, Virtual Middle School courses.
Students are encouraged to explore and participate in a variety of co-curricular offerings to complement academic development. Example opportunities for Middle School include:
- After School Activities

- Model United Nations
- Service Learning - Team Ghana
- Performing Arts production
- NaNoWriMo - Novel writing
- Student Newspaper
- Student Council
- F1 in Schools
- Field Trips
