Masood is a corporate strategist, investor and philanthropist. At Verdacore, a boutique strategic advisory and project development firm where he has worked for the last nine years, he advises family groups, corporates and startups on strategy, organization, operational improvement and investments, and helps to incubate new ventures, both as principal and advisor. Earlier he worked in various positions at A.T. Kearney, McKinsey, Microsoft, and Emirates MBD on three different continents, and was a Visiting Fellow at the Mohammad bin Rashid School of Government in the UAE. In addition, he founded Goodgate Philanthropy, a philanthropic venture which connects donors to good causes, and promotes transparency, efficiency, and performance in philanthropy across the Muslim World. He has an A.B. in Government and an M.B.A. from Harvard University, as well as an M.Phil. in Development Studies from Cambridge University.
