Finding something you love can change your life.
We provide a wide range of co-curricular activities – from sports to arts and exploration – so your child can discover callings and communities they never expected. We also give them the space and encouragement to enjoy them, express themselves, and form new friendships.
From Kindergarten to Grade 5, our Lower School co-curricular program activities are included in the tuition fees.
We offer opportunities to take part in arts, sports, and the chance to develop language and leadership skills. Activities are run over the fall, winter and spring seasons.
- Kindergarten students can choose Kindergarten Lions Club up to two times per week. This is available for Kindergarten 2 students in the Winter and Spring seasons and Kindergarten 1 students in the Spring season only.
- Students in Grades 1-4 can choose up to two activities a season
- In Grade 5, students can choose up to three activities a season, the third being a year-long Leadership Opportunity activity
Private mother-tongue language clubs are considered an additional activity.
Parents can view available activities and register their children online before each season. Registration dates are published through our enewsletter (MyZIS Weekly News) in the Community Portal for current families.
Whether it’s a new sport, a hobby or a creative outlet, we believe that helping students find a lifelong passion is a crucial part of growing up happy and confident.
