Vacation and Community Programs

Give your children new opportunities and broaden their horizons outside the school year by joining a ZIS vacation or weekend program.

Vacation Programs

ZIS offers a wide range of vacation activities during academic breaks. We have STEM camps, gymnastics, soccer, kayaking, fun activities and more.

Private Summer Camps (not ZIS)

Summer Camps offered by Hebbian

  • ETHZ Research Advisor Program (June-July, flexible): High school students pair up with ETHZ students 1-on-1 for a 6-week mini research project in their passion area (neuroscience, robotics, AI, engineering, etc.). Grand prize for the highest quality research paper. Registration deadline 4th June.
  • Artificial Intelligence Art (June 26-30): Generate and print digital art on canvas using the latest AI tools, and have your art displayed at a gallery auction. Grand prize for the most original and creative art exhibition. Registration deadline 11th June.
  • Web Entrepreneurship (July 3-7): Build and launch your own web shop using Shopify and AI. Grand prize for the web shop that makes the most sales in the coming months. Registration deadline 18th June.
  • Data Science and Machine Learning (July 17-21): Learn the fundamentals of app market analysis using machine learning, including customer and competitor research. Grand prize for the best-performing machine learning model. Registration deadline 2nd July.
  • Circuit Design and 3D Printing (July 24-28): Create your own hardware projects in collaboration with the ETHZ student project house. Grand prize for the most innovative and functional project. Registration deadline 9th July.

Four weeks of fun activities - options for whole weeks, morning or afternoons. 

Weekend Programs

We also offer weekend programs throughout the year including basketball leagues and STEM Saturdays (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)

ZIS Lions Mini Basketball League

The ZIS Lions Basketball Mini Leagues let students build basketball skills and understanding of the game while competing. The mini leagues games and practices are open to all students in Grades 4-10.
