Leadership and governance
Zurich International School is a not-for-profit school foundation governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. Appointed through a rigorous selection process, Trustees bring diverse expertise and provide strategic oversight to ensure the long-term success of the school.
The School Director, appointed by the Board, is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of ZIS. Supported by the Leadership Team—including the Deputy Director, Chief Advancement Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and the Waedenswil campus and Adliswil campus Principals—the Director leads the delivery of the school's mission and strategic priorities. The Director also serves as a non-voting member of the Board of Trustees.
