The Campaign for ZIS: Building the Future of Learning
At ZIS, excellence is about staying ahead of the curve. As the world around us is transformed by technology, economics and politics we look to the future, equipping our students with the content, context and character they will draw on throughout their lives.
There’s no better example of this than our new Middle School building, which will be located next to the Upper School on a combined campus.
This new Middle and Upper School Campus will offer a truly integrated curriculum, with access to flexible learning spaces which adapt to the needs of students from Grade 6 to 12.
We will be able to offer state-of-the-art facilities, including a new library and media center, a STEM and IT center, a new gym and multiple music and performance spaces.
The campus will be open to students in August 2022.

And now, after months of behind-the-scenes fundraising, we are thrilled to share the Campaign for ZIS: Building the Future of Learning.
ZIS is a non-profit school: we have no shareholders and our whole income is devoted to education. The Campaign will support our vision for an international education that empowers our students to thrive in the modern world – and in the first instance, support the delivery of the new Middle School.
Over almost 60 years, our strong community has helped to make ZIS what it is; and today, you can ensure that students decades from now will continue to enjoy a truly exceptional education.
So far, more than CHF Mio 2 has been raised from many generous individuals, firms and organizations. We hope that you’ll join our community of ZIS donors in supporting the Campaign for ZIS through a tax-deductible donation.
We would like to thank our corporate partners who have given to date and the Canton of Zurich for their generous support.
The two-hub model, with the new Middle School a central feature, is part of our vison for the future ensuring we are able to deliver an outstanding international education for our global community. You can read more about the strategic plan
"The new combined Middle/ Upper School Campus will create new learning spaces and opportunities for every student in the Middle and Upper School."
